The Montauk Mule
As summer turned into fall this year and the weather became a little chilly I found myself missing my Moscow Mule that I have become accustomed to this past summer. “What to do…what to do” I pondered over my usual Fall/Winter adult beverage. (something brown over rocks…well really anything brown over rocks) The harvest season spun in my head, apple, pumpkin, fall spices.
Brought these thoughts to my favorite Barkeep Steve Magliano over at Beginnings in Atlantic Beach on Long Island NY. Steve entertained my ideas…and we tried and tasted and tasted and tried and tried and tasted (kind-a-fun) The winning combination emerged: Bourbon, Ginger, Hard Apple Cider, Citrus
