It has always amazed us how much trash is seen floating on our seas. For us in the Northeast when we are 30-60 miles off shore it’s the floating airless Mylar balloons we see most often. That’s why at Montauk Tackle we have incorporated the use of recycled polyester yarn into every one of our garments. We calculate the re-use of 4 plastic bottle in each of our sun protecting shirts.
